A new scroll has been introduced.
Lesser shield. It adds to the target’s armour. The higher the caster’s Wisdom the greater the effect. Also the higher the target’s wisdom the greater chance there is of “critical” protection during battle.
The target’s Wisdom in general will also, in most cases, help to either improve the effects of a spell or how often it occurs during combat. This means that spells work better when cast on mages, but are still good on fighters and other non-wisdom classes.

Fishing is now the best way to get some if not all of the best ingredients for potion making. I have had to change things a little, so you might find some items in one location and not in the other. Depending on what you wish to find, you will need to fish in the right place.

For every member of your clan in the same location as your character, you gain 1 point to Combat, bows and magestrike up to 10 points.
This is the effect of moral support and help. This will help lower level players more than high level players.

A simple Scroll of Viewing has been introduced. There is more on it in the Spoiler section. I wanted to try something simple before introducing the heavier spells. It looks as though the system is going to be based around scrolls. Mages will have to create these scrolls that hold the “power” of the spell. When used the power is drained and the scroll lost.
There will soon be a system for making scrolls as well as other scrolls in game. They will be basic to start with and be something like:
Scroll of Might - adds damage
Scroll of Armour
Curse
Remove Curse
Fire - lesser attack
Lightning - greater attack
Lesser Summoning
Summoning
Greater Summoning
This is not a fixed list but an idea.

Due to the alrming number of items held during combat. A main weapon that can be a two handed Greatsword, A shield, a bow and a staff, there is now a penalty for combat with a Weapon and Special (staff or wand) equipped. You only do 75% damage. It might still be better to have the two equipped depending on your build. If you have a good staff and not such a good weapon, don’t bother euipping the weapon.
This does not effect bows or armour.

I have added two new mini bosses to the dungeons. They spawn very often.
They are a couple of old and very grumpy Cave Trolls who do not take kindly to visitors.

There are two PvP single attacks now. Strike and Shoot. One is close combat, and the other is ranged.
You can Strike or Shoot a player once every 10 seconds. I wanted to try this out for two reasons.
1. It might add to possible Clan attacks on other players/clans. Making such battles more interesting.
2. This is part or the drive to introduce spells in an odd way. I want some spells that can be used for single attacks without going for an allout attack.
Note that you can not “Attack” a player for a long time after a Strike or a Shoot so you need to think it through if say for example two clans decide to attack one anothe in some location. It might be better to use a lot of Strikes and Shots rather than attacks.
Also, you can no longer attack players half your level or less. I am not sure is this will stay or not.

Although MMORPGs, as defined today, have only existed since the early 1990s,[3] all MMORPGs can trace a lineage back to the earliest multi-user games which started appearing in the late 1970s.[3] The first of these was Mazewar, though more would soon be developed for the PLATO system.[12] 1984 saw a Roguelike (semi-graphical) multi-user game, called Islands of Kesmai.[12] The first “truly” graphical multi-user RPG was Neverwinter Nights, which was delivered through America Online in 1991 and was personally championed by AOL President Steve Case.[12] Other early proprietary graphical MMORPGs include three on The Sierra Network: The Shadow of Yserbius in 1992, The Fates of Twinion in 1993, and The Ruins of Cawdor in 1995.
When NSFNET restrictions were lifted in 1995, the Internet was opened up to developers, which allowed for the first really “massive” titles. The first success after this point was Meridian 59, which also featured first-person 3D graphics,[13] although The Realm Online appeared nearly simultaneously and may be credited with bringing the genre to a wider player-base.[12] Ultima Online, released in 1997, may be credited with first popularizing the genre,[12] though Nexus: The Kingdom of the Winds was primarily responsible for mainstream attention throughout Asia which was released in 1996, about a year earlier than Ultima Online. It was EverQuest that brought MMORPGs to the mainstream in the West.[12]
These early titles’ financial success has ensured competition in the genre since that time. MMORPG titles now exist on consoles and in new settings, and their players enjoy higher-quality gameplay. The current market for MMORPGs has Blizzard’s World of Warcraft dominating as the largest pay-to-play MMORPG,[citation needed] though an additional market exists for free-to-play MMORPGs, which are supported by advertising and purchases of in-game items. One exception is Guild Wars, which avoids competition with other MMORPGs by only requiring the initial purchase of the game to play. Though other titles use this pay-structure, Guild Wars remains the only highly popular game of this type.
