I have upgraded the chat system. There are now 5 Channels.

1. Personal Message - Send a PM to any player online. Enter the player’s character ID and click any button.
2. Location - Send a message to everyone in your location.
3. Help - New players can use this to ask for advice. Old players can answer. It is global. Please do not abuse.
4. BuySell - Use this to find trade. It is global, so please do not abuse.
5. Clan - Sends a message to all clan members online.

Each channel can be turned off so you do not get any messages on that channel. You might for example want to turn off the Help or BuySell channels if they get busy.

The system is an upgrade but as mentioned while using the new system it is not final. There will be a v3.0 using newer and better technology. This should hold for a while though.

Clans or guilds have been introduced.

At present they do not offer anything other than membership.

To start a clan, click on the Clan link.
Pick a name, and a 3 character tag as well as a colour.
Pay 200,000 gold!

You can now invite players via their detailed character view if you click on View others then on their name.

If invited, go to the Clan link and chose whether to join of not.

The Clan Leader can give members ranks.
